Geometric Sinus House in Denmark

The designers from CEBRA Architects presented this exciting project of Sinus House. It combines two conflicting desires – to enjoy the view through the windows and protect privacy. This is promoted by a mysterious geometry of the house and contemporary black and white design. Combined with each other a kitchen, a living room and a dining room have open plan. Master bedroom with private bathroom represents a separate unit. Opposite it there are two more rooms, between which a niche was formed. It can be used as a playground or chill-out corner for adults. The attic also has a free space where pantry is situated.

White House Design: Carrara House in Buenos Aires

Andres Remy Arquitectos company has designed Carrara House in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The area of the mansion is 660 sq.m. and it is characterized by plenty of panoramic windows and a light marble finish. Together with high ceilings the designers achieved an effect of absolute openness. The water became the second important element of design. Outside we can see a pool and small pond, while waterfall greets us at the entrance. Some bright details in mostly white interior make the house more welcoming and cozy. Carrara House is so perfectly balanced that could be easily called a dream home.
Sereno House by Jaime Rendon Arquitectos

Design Studio Jaime Rendon Arquitectos has completed a project of Sereno House on the outskirts of Medellin, Colombia. The mansion is situated at a height of 2.150 meters above sea level and it’s famous for its outstanding nature surrounded by forests and valleys. The house consists of two units. The white concrete one includes the social area, guest bedroom and office space, while the black stone block offers the master bedroom and office. The residence also features courtyard where family and friends could relax close to nature and panoramic windows of living area provide breathtaking views of the city below.
Unusual V-House by GAAGA

Architects from GAAGA designed V-House in Leiden, the Netherlands. This residence was called due to its unusual geometry. The roof of the house is made of wood and shaped like the letter V, that looks quite original. The upper level has a living room, dining room and kitchen. This part of the house features an open plan with high ceilings (from 2.8 to 4.1 meters, depending on the angle of the roof). On the ground floor there is a hall, bedrooms and a bathroom. It also provides access to the garden. Spaciousness and natural materials (such as stone and wood) help to create a welcoming cozy atmosphere in the house.
Oceanfront YN-13 House on Shelter Island in New York state

The designers’ company Morris Sato Studio has completed YN-13 House. Located in Shelter Island, New York, the mansion occupies an area of 6000 sq. and consists of three separate buildings: a residential unit, guest house and garage. The exterior was inspired by Japanese style, the bleached vertical battens and cedar siding of the main and ancillary volumes’ of the guesthouse and garage merge with the terne-coated stainless steel roofing to form a unified textured appearance between the walls and the roof. The interiors are very light, modern and quit minimalistic. The residence is also characterized by open floor plans. Terraces and balconies are equipped for the rest, and even from the second floor you can enjoy the ocean view.

Steven Harris Architects have created this beautiful glass house design of Surfside Residence. Located in Montauk (State of New York), the mansion features four bedrooms and bathrooms. Built near the sea, it has its own access to the private beach. If you even don’t want to leave the residence, you can relax in the pool and spa area. Due to the glass façade, this ocean front modern masterpiece dissolves boundaries between interior and exterior. But of course there some private corners which are hidden from prying eyes. The modern interior is designed in the style of a beach house and you could get this house for 9,950,000$ on the Sotheby’s International website.

Design Studio GH3 from Toronto presented a draft of Williams Studio. Located on Stony Lake in Ontario, Canada, this glass house was built for the photographer, who wanted to live and work with comfort under one roof. Due to the successful location and the wishes of the client the exterior was designed as transparent as possible. So there was a full glazed facade, which can be closed by roll-curtains to ensure privacy or to hide from the sun during the hot summer days. Interior of the house was designed in minimalist style. The predominance of white palette combines well with dark accents.
