Steven Harris Architects have created this beautiful glass house design of Surfside Residence. Located in Montauk (State of New York), the mansion features four bedrooms and bathrooms. Built near the sea, it has its own access to the private beach. If you even don’t want to leave the residence, you can relax in the pool and spa area. Due to the glass façade, this ocean front modern masterpiece dissolves boundaries between interior and exterior. But of course there some private corners which are hidden from prying eyes. Designers Erich Gassmann and Tina Aßmann have completed the interior of VIP WING Lounge at Munich Airport. Bavaria is famous for its unspoiled nature of countryside and pulsating modern city life simultaneously. This combination of tradition and progress is reflected in the work of designers. The recreation area of VIP WING Lounge is located in the south wing of Terminal 1 and covers an area of 1,200 sq.m. High quality materials, traditional to this region, such as oak, felt and leather were used in the decoration. This is a real haven of peace and quiet in a noisy airport, where you can relax, take a shower, eat and work productively in a separate room.
The company’s designers ixdesign gave new life to this loft in New York Citys West Village. The project was called 130 Barrow Street Loft. The total area is 1,050 sf and apartment is located within a structure built as a truck garage in 1931. In 1983 it was turned into a condominium complex, but the crazy geometry of apartments and a limited amount of natural light betrayed the past. Designers had a lot to change to create a functional and warm interior. White color is dominated and creates the effect of additional space and lighting. Wood and velvet furniture have been added to provide the feeling of coziness and elegance.
Architects from G.Lab* has created a project of the residential complex Casamoro Condominiums in Hongcheon, South Korea. The building is situated on the northern bank of the Han River and is represented by three blocks. On the second floor of the complex parking is equipped, offering a beautiful view of the water; apartments are designed on the next level. There is also a large terrace for public use. The floating units reveal a communal café space below with access to the waterfront. As for interiors, they are designed in a contemporary style and is characterized by numerous bright accents and interesting details.
Modern design house of Euclid Residence was presented by Balance Associates Architects. The total area of three-storey residence is 280 sq.m. and it is located in Seattle, Washington. For a long time it was offered for sale and the last asking price was $ 1.295 million. The terrain on which the mansion was built is not only sloping but also full of wild vegetation and trees. From the top you can see Lake Washington and there is a national park around the residence. Customers, a married couple, wanted the house to be modern and green, as well as to allow admiring the surrounding beauty.
Carola Vannini, Italian designer, has created a Celio Apartment, a true work of art, with an area of 2,580 square foot. This luxurious apartment, located close to the Colosseo, in Rome, has been reorganized through a complete and detailed design project. The client’s main need of opening the space toward the outside landscape, generated a design characterized by light and airy rooms. Main space of the day area is the kitchen volume, which is designed as an isolated volume, separated from ceiling and floor through continue lines of light. Swiss studio Savioz Fabrizzi Architectes presented a draft mountain residence Maison Val d’Entremont. This modern three-storey family home is situated at the top of a mountain village, in Valais, Switzerland, and is famous for its panoramic view of 360 degrees. Surrounded by pastures and rolling hills, there is an atmosphere of calmness and deliberateness. The residence has a simple geometric form and it was built according to tradition of this region, so it blends well with the background of the neighboring houses. And only windows around the perimeter of the second floor add some originality. The facades are made of pre-weathered wood which will gradually get darker and adapt to the barns of the village to be integrated and become a timeless building.
Lieven Musschoot has created a contemporary Pure C bar and restaurant in the Netherlands. The relaxed atmosphere, lots of light, mainly white interior with some accents embody a comfort and coziness of family restaurant. In the interior decoration designers use the furniture from Piet Boon and Max Alto. Pure C is able to accommodate up to 180 people and is divided into zones. Guests can choose from a large table for good company or private place for two, hidden behind curtains, and an atmosphere of relaxation is reinforced by the warm of a fireplace.
