Lieven Musschoot has created a contemporary Pure C bar and restaurant in the Netherlands. The relaxed atmosphere, lots of light, mainly white interior with some accents embody a comfort and coziness of family restaurant. In the interior decoration designers use the furniture from Piet Boon and Max Alto. Pure C is able to accommodate up to 180 people and is divided into zones. Guests can choose from a large table for good company or private place for two, hidden behind curtains, and an atmosphere of relaxation is reinforced by the warm of a fireplace. So Pure C is the place where it’s a pleasure to meet with friends, spend romantic evenings with your loved ones and enjoy the life.
Aatrial House is an interesting project by KWK PROMES. The residence was built near the city Opole, Lower Silesia, Poland, its area is 660 sq.m. Located right near the forest, the residence is known for its nature around. It is obvious that the large number of terraces was necessary to absorb the surrounding beauty. The structure results from various transformations of a cube. After all the houses in the district were built in the 1970s and had a simple geometric form. That’s why the exterior of Aatrial House looks modest. Huge windows, modern interior design and rich decoration embody good taste. Visit the architects’ site for more information.
Canadian designer Keith Baker from KB Design has created the Armada House located designed in Victoria, BC, Canada. The area of residence is 490 square meters, and its abstract design blends harmoniously with the surroundings. The basic materials are wood, steel, stone and glass, and you feel balance everywhere in this project. The main characteristic of Armada House is the terraces, which are designed for relaxation and entertainment and overlook the ocean and surrounding hills. There are 3 bedrooms, an open spaces kitchen, dining room and living space in Armada House which appear to be part of a bright story of comfort.
Wessels Joyce Associates has completed a project of a house they designed in Knysna, South Africa. The mansion consists of a few blocks and has a very open plan. You can see on photos all of exterior is glassed, that creates a feeling of lightness and provides magnificent views everywhere. The interior is designed in modern style, bright colors are dominated there, but dark accents like columns, fireplaces or textiles add some originality. I especially liked the bedroom with king-sized bed, coated with weightless fabric and located outdoor endless pool. Visit the Wessels Joyce Associates website here.
Can Siurell Villa is located just above Port Andratx overlooking the Mediterranean coast. You can see a great contrast between classic Mallorcan-style exterior and contemporary luxury interiors. The fact is that two different design studios have created this beautiful masterpiece. The interiors were developed by Manchester-based Curve Interior Design while the exterior was designed by PH Mallorca. The heart of the mansion is a living room, which is integrated with dining area. All other rooms are located around this central part, divided into separate rooms. And of course, the residence features spacious terrace with loungers for sunbathing, endless pool, BBQ, dining table so the owners can spend all day enjoying thebeauty of nature.
You’ll be surprised, but dental surgery can be not so terrible. For example Weissraum Dental Surgery in Munich looks more like a lounge area than a dental office. Dentist Mattias Fierbiger chose an old dance studio in a historic building in art deco style as place for his dental office and invited Peter Ippolito and Gunter Fleitz from Ippolito Fleitz Group. High ceilings, interesting stucco molding, oak floors were the base for this contemporary project. The interior is very light due to white color and gold elements add luxury. Everything was done to give the feel of hospitality and service.
Company DEN Architecture completed the interior design of an apartment in Miami, Florida. Young couple from Central America purchased this modern apartment in a prestigious building from the late 70s. An outdated plan needed the urgent intervention. Modern furniture and built in wardrobes do not press on the space, contrasting colors add originality. The main colors, used in the project, are classical for Central America design – the deep dark earth tones, mixed with a rich timber and diluted with bright red accents.
Architects and designers from EXE STUDIO have completed the apartment design for a young business school student in Belgrade, Serbia. The total area of the flat is 69 square meters. All surfaces are painted in white with bright accents of black and green elements. Centerpiece of the design is a big black block placed between the living room and kitchen, that separated two zones. This item is a godsend in terms of functional – on the one hand, it is used as a stand for the TV, and on the other – it hides kitchen furniture. There are lots of hexagons in the interior; these designed elements are placed on the wall, at ceiling and at the box. They have three functions: shelves, lighting elements and masks. In general, the design is very creative and I think the young lady will feel herself comfortable there.
