We have already reviewed the Fish House by Guz Architects, and now present another project of these talented designers. The houses have much in common and it is difficult to say which one is more beautiful. The Meera House is located on the island of Sentosa adjacent to Singapore and amazes with its magnificence. Looking from above, the house is like a green oasis, because roof and terraces are covered with grass and some trees. But this is not the only outstanding feature of this splendid design. Beautiful view of the water, the incredible staircase and swimming pool separated by glass walls are also impressed by their originality. Bravo to architects who created such a luxury green house.

We want to present to you a very beautiful house with nature around. This rustic cosy house called Kaweah Falls was built in the centre of Three Rivers, California, near the entrance to Sequoia National Park. It is the nook of paradise for those who love nature. River is usually a symbol of passing time and wildness of the nature. Living in this house reconnects man with surrounding natural environment. The dwelling seems to float over the river bank.

The use of natural materials and beautiful nature that surrounds the house – these are the components which allow it to look as spectacular. The amazing structure combines stone, wood and glass. This project was designed by Prentiss Architects and was called North Bay Residence. By the way, another project with similar name North Bay Road Residence was presented in the blog earlier, but they are quite opposite houses. The house is located on San Juan Island in the U.S. near the coast. The plot has a slight slope, which makes the structure of the houses more attractive, and provides more exciting views. Decorated in classic and contemporary style simultaneously, the residence is designed to please everyone.
Lookout House by Ike Kligerman Barkley Architects

Architects of Ike Kligerman Barkley have recently completed the work connected with the reconstruction of this large beautiful home, located in Connecticut. The project was called Lookout House. Originally, the building at this place was built in 1979 and home owners wanted to preserve its original structure, but expand the available space and make it more modern and convenient. The old part of the house, situated under cone-shaped roof, has undergone minimal changes, and new cube part was build next to the old. The space between these two parts of the building is connected by a glass corridor. Now the place is more than enough, and owners even have two beautiful pools, inside and outside.

Do you remember the great cartoon Up from Pixar? I think all kids dream to make the same trip. On Match 5th National Geographic Channel with team of scientists, engineers, and two world-class balloon pilots realized this idea and set a new world record for the largest balloon cluster flight. 16′ X 16′ house started from the private airfield near Los Angeles and hovering in the air about an hour, reaching a height of 10,000 feet. The Unique Arc House by Maziar Behrooz Architecture

This amazing residence was built by Maziar Behrooz Architecture for a small family of two and their two big dogs. Its located in East Hampton, NY, near the local airport and train track. The architects considered this fact and accentuated it in house\\\’s exterior by making it look like an airplane hangar. Such structure does not only look extraordinary, but is also very cost-effective because it doesnt require too many supporting walls or columns inside of the building. The arc contains just some of the facilities, such as living, dining rooms and the kitchen, whereas the rest of the house is very well integrated to the landscape, housing some of the more intimate areas.
The materials for the house were selected with energy saving in mind, making the power consuption of this house much lower than of the typical house of this size.

Nautilus House by Javier Senosiain: The Design Inspired by Sea

Looking at some designer’s creations one can be astonished by the power and the creativity of the human mind. This can be said about the Nautilus house located near Mexico City. It is a unique shell shaped house designed by Mexican architect Javier Senosiain. The house design is very innovative, unusual and audacious. Javier Senosiain decided to bring the life aquatic into architecture. This house turns the form of the Nautilus shell and is wonderful to look at and to be in. The interesting feature of this huge shell is a striking entry cut into a wall of colorful stained glass. Inside it casts multi-colored spots of light onto walls. But it’s not the only surprise you will find.
