N-7 Table for Office by Norayr Khachatryan

The table N7, born in the teamwork of U.S designer Norayr Khachatryan and Italian design company CASAMANIA, was inspired by the natural and man-made worlds simultaneously. Elegant and simple form of the table in more precise look brings awareness that every detail in addition to the aesthetic role has a specific function. Using of aluminum plate as material and folding techniques together with an extraordinary functionality has its roots in military engineering. And at the same time there is another allegory with the natural world: a special strength and stability of the construction has been possible due to the irregular disposition of two legs just as in a structure of the deer’s hind legs which gives them the power to run. N-7 table was awarded in «Good Design Award 2008″ Chicago Athenaeum.

Very Elegant Coffee Table by Alessandro Di Prisco

“Silk” coffee table, designed by talented Italian architect and designer Alessandro Di Prisco, whose works were presented and awarded at many architecture and design competitions in Italy and abroad. The table is made from a single thermoformed sheet of Corian (1 x 1 meter). Thanks to an extraordinary design it looks like a silk shawl floating in the air and fluttering by the wind. Seeming lightness contrasts with the actual strength of the material from which the table is made. The “waves” of the “Silk” serve both as its surface and as a support for it. Very elegant coffee table will be more suitable for the office or living room.

Laura Desk Made of the Finest Domestic Hardwoods: Phloem Studio

Inspired by the classic George Nelson Swag desk this Laura Desk was designed by Phloem Studio, located in Portland (Oregon). The table is very simple and functional at the same time. At the back end of it there are three small open storages that hide cord ports. On the front part of the desktop there are two drawers that can be used as storage for pens, pencil and notebooks. Laura Desk is made by hand to order which means the exclusivity and craftsmanship of design. Walnut, cherry, ash, or white oak are the finest domestic hardwoods for the production of table which available now.

Landscape Collection Inspired by Nature: Maxim Velčovský

At Czech Designblok 2012 the new Landscape collection by Czech designer Maxim Velčovský was represented. This collection inspired by nature and executed in cooperation with the international company DuPont consists of three furniture pieces. Library, Table No. 1, and Table No. 2 have readily perceptible outlines of the natural objects. Library is a bookshelf that has bends of different sizes as if repeating the contour lines on a map. Table No. 1 is a beautiful colorful flower, the petals can be used as storage. Table No. 2 is a horizon with the mountains arise from it. This extraordinary collection of furniture undoubtedly will bring sensation of nature to any room.

Fractal Modular Table by Nicholas Karlovasitis and Sarah Gibson

‘Fractal’ is a modular table system designed by Nicholas Karlovasitis and Sarah Gibson (Australian brand DesignByThem). The modular setting uses repetition and pattern to create table of any size and any form. A system of hidden magnets is used in Fractal for easy connection of modules and for holding each module into position. Due to the use of FSC certified timber and E0 rated plywood the sustainably-harvested trees and zero formaldehyde emissions from the ply glue are provided in the process of manufacture of the setting. Fractal modular system is suitable for any room and it is good for outdoor place; thanks to its modularity, it easily transportable.

Daisuke Motogi is a talented designer from Saitama (Japan). His Flip furniture collection changes the concept of furniture, the functions of which vary when flipped. The collection includes High back chairs which turn and become low chairs, a Flip stool that turns and becomes a deep seated chair, a Flip rocking chair that turns to become an armchair, Flip-table, Flip-chair-kids and recently released Coffeecup – low table that is converted into either a small armchair or higher chair with a low back. The furniture is made of lightweight urethane and it is very easy to flip even for a child. Flip furniture collection is attractive because its multifunctionality and pleasant to look at.
