Beautiful lamp

Switch by William Lee
The latest work of designer William Lee was presented at NY Design Week. This is lamp, which has no on/off switch and power cord. The Switch is the embodiment of the minimalism in design. The exquisite style of the lamp gives the impression of a high-tech object. It is rechargeable and is made of an acrylic construction with 60 LEDs hidden underneath. It is in flat position when off, as if waiting for something. As if coming to life, it changes its orientation from flat position, when toggled on.

'Halo Lamp' Reflecting Patterned Light by DesignQ
This lamp with a funny name 'Halo lamp' and apparently with an unattractive appearance, in fact, is a challenging mechanism with stunning effect - a projection of the ring of light on the ceiling. The lamp is designed by designQ, who invented the construction with a ring shaped mirror inside of the lamp, which reflects the light from the light bulb. So 'Halo lamp' illuminates not only the space under it, but also the ceiling. Moreover, by covering the mirror in any shape you want, the corresponding patterns will be reflected. The lamp will be perfect for the rooms of clubs, pubs, cafe and small shops.

“Forms in Nature” Lamp, Casting Unusual Shadows, by Thyra Hilden and Pio Diaz
Two artists, Thyra Hilden and Pio Diaz, have designed an unusual chandelier, the main idea of which is not light but shade. “Forms in Nature” lamp has such a complicated spherical structure that casts beautiful realistic shadows of the branches and trees onto the walls, floor and ceiling. The picture varies with a changing of the intensity of the light. The shadows from the dark and scary slowly turn into the soft and flickering. The project is still in development and will be released this year. Thus, soon you will have a great opportunity to make your room a magic fairy forest.

Cloudy Lamp of Gradient Glass by Mathieu Lehanneur
Cloudy Lamp is designed by Mathieu Lehanneur for Fabbian. Made of blown glass it has a form that is really like a cloud; just like the rays of the sun make their way through the original clouds, the HIGH-power LED light radiates through the blown glass. Glass has a gradient transition from white on the upper part of the lamp and to clear on the bottom. The lamp is available in two variants: for suspension and with ceiling fixture. Airy and romantic, it will be very suitable for a bedroom or a small room.

The Lamp Named Sailing Ship by Roman Shpelyk
Sailing Ship is a name of this wonderful lamp created by Roman Shpelyk - Ukkrain-based designer. As well as its romantic name the lamp has also romantic look: the lamp shade as a tensioned sail outspread above the deck-table illuminating the horizon. The light is placed on the top of a peg system. The wire plays a significant role by holding the lamp shade on the pegs. Moving the lamp shade higher or lower along the stand, we thereby increase or decrease the highlighted area. Due to the use of light wood the resulting design perfectly combines classic materials with a modern aesthetic.
