N-7 Table for Office by Norayr Khachatryan
The table N7, born in the teamwork of U.S designer Norayr Khachatryan and Italian design company CASAMANIA, was inspired by the natural and man-made worlds simultaneously. Elegant and simple form of the table in more precise look brings awareness that every detail in addition to the aesthetic role has a specific function. Using of aluminum plate as material and folding techniques together with an extraordinary functionality has its roots in military engineering. And at the same time there is another allegory with the natural world: a special strength and stability of the construction has been possible due to the irregular disposition of two legs just as in a structure of the deer’s hind legs which gives them the power to run. N-7 table was awarded in «Good Design Award 2008" Chicago Athenaeum.
