Brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec from Estudio Bouroullec in cooperation with Ligne Roset presented a new Sofá Ploum, designed for comfort lovers. Due to its simple form the item can be easily adapted to the contours of the body to have a rest there. A combination of two specific materials (high resilience polyurethane Bultex foam and flexible fabric) which, when associated with the real dimensional generosity of the Ploum settees, offers a great flexibility and an extremely high level of comfort whilst giving the body the chance to adopt a number of possible postures. Extremely warm and cozy, Sofá Ploum is available in two sizes, so it will fit any apartment.
Modular sofa Mah Jong was first presented 30 years ago. This year, designer Roche Bobois has created the 11th updated version of vintage Mah Jong sofa, made of new bright and colorful fabrics. Handmade, stitched like pawns on a chessboard modules of the sofa can be easily moved to create an individual style, comfort and harmony. And you don’t need any accessories, as Mah Jong will perfectly decorate the living room. These sofas are low to the ground, are great for lounging and entertaining, and don’t occupy half of the living space as traditional sofas do. Choose your individual sofa on the designer’s site.
Designer Patricia Urquiola has created a soft couch Foliage, whose production is organized by the Italian furniture manufacturer Kartell. The main features of the sofa are a graph in the form of leaves on its soft part, and legs in the form of branches. It is interesting that both parts are autonomous, that is, the soft one can be removed from the frame and simply placed on the floor, balcony or terrace – where you want. Foliage, by the way, is applied across the canvas making the sofa a standalone piece that can be placed even in the centre of a room and seen from all sides. Via
