Are you a real wine lover? Wine collecting is a complex and interesting process. Many famous people have their own vineyards or just collection of masterpieces of world winemaking over the years. Let’s look at the imagination of designers. We are glad to present a creative selection of wood, plastic or steel wine shelves and racks. These furniture pieces could be modern or classic, but they are all beautiful. On the first photo you can see the Bent-Wood Wine Rack designed by Alberto Mantilla, Scott Henderson and Anthony Baxter. The rack can hold all the wine you need, as the twisting shapes of birch and walnut hold six standard bottles and one Magnum in the center.
Sommerach is a famous wine village and translated like “The place on the sunny side of the river”. Würzburg architectural firm won a competition on the conversion and redesign of an existing building Sommeracher Winery. Their concept mainly satisfied with the harmony of modern architecture and Frankish tradition. The facade and the interior was extensively changed from a dark and oppressive atmosphere inside to a bright and welcoming atmosphere with wine bar, wine school and a big barrel cellar.
