Concrete Clad Exterior: Open Box House by A-cero

Present to you one more simply awesome and unusual house by Spanish architects from A-Cero. The residence was built in Madrid and named Open Box House. As in other projects of these architects, we can see the massive concrete structure, which looks rather reliable, but it does not seem too severe. Such projects have long become something like a business card for A-Cero. The house occupies 750 square meters and has three levels. The basement includes the garage and facilities and there is the living room, kitchen and servant?s quarter on the ground floor. The 4 bedrooms and a library are situated on the top floor. In addition to house project and interior design specialists of the same company have realized work package on beautification of the adjoining territory, where you can see a beautiful garden in the Japanese style.

Beautiful Remodel Project by Chadbourne + Doss Architects

This contemporary house is located in Washington and it?s an example of quality and prestige remodel of famous Seattle architect Fred Bassetti's earliest design built in 1962. The authors of the project, called Wood Block Residence, became Chadbourne + Doss Architects. The house is situated on a sloping site, surrounded by dense vegetation and amazing natural landscapes and, of course, the residence features large windows and some fragments of the full glassed walls. The exterior was clad in such materials as concrete, wood and glass that look very harmonious there. Interiors show a close relationship with the environment and an inner courtyard. The combination of black and white, as well as individual elements of natural wood emphasizes elegance and style.

Beautiful Mountain House by Alric Galindez Architects

S residence, located in Bariloche, Argentina, is an amazing house, towering above the valley of the river. It was designed by the company Alric Galindez Architects. Now this stunning house is an integral part of the landscape of this beautiful place. The house consists of several volumes, each of them has an excellent representation of the area. There are some parts that are intended for permanent dwelling, for guests accommodation and other needs. The main decoration material for the facade of the building became a local gray stone, which in some places complemented by local wood. Interiors are very modern, designed in white color, which contrasts favorably with contemporary furnishings and appliances.

Garden House: renovation project by David Guerra

This splendid house was built in Brazil in the early 80s of last century and recently completely renovated and partially reconstructed in order to fully comply with the representations of the modern and comfortable home. The author of the remodel and the new interiors became architect David Guerra. The house was called Garden House. New owner wanted to have a home that is more closely contacts with the surrounding beautiful garden that would also make the interior, before too dark, more full of natural light. That?s why, the residence has open plan and the space is very light and airy. In house design was used the mix of styles, which goes from the 50?s, pass by the classics, ethnics, contemporaries, are incremented with Brazilian references.

Dynamic Architecture: Ribbon Holiday House by G2 Estudio

An interesting Ribbon house was created by G2 Estudio in San Carlos de Bariloche, Patagonia Argentina. It got its name because of the interior which looks like the ribbon shape; it is asymmetric and very unusual. The idea of the architects was to integrate large spaces performing different functions: one for leisure and another for recreation for the two families living in Tahiti. The house consists of two master-rooms, two bedrooms for the children, and all that can be necessary for the vacation house.

The Ridgewood Residence by Assembledge+: the Outdoor Lifestyle

The architects from Assembledge+ created this Ridgewood residence in the Larchmont area of Los Angeles, which takes into consideration all features of the local climate and turn them into the advantages: mainly natural light, warmth and views. This 2400 square feet (223 square meters) house has the minimalist exterior and the luxury interior. The glass corner of the living room gives the inhabitants the opportunity to enjoy the exiting views and makes them feel as though they are outside. The full-length front porch that is reminiscent of the surrounding neighborhood craftsman homes. The design is very elegant and refined due to the cedar siding, smooth white plaster, and colored MDO panels. The soothing outdoor nature has been carried inside the house by employment of lots of windows and sliding glass wall in the interiors of the house.

70 Residence by Push Architects: Closer to the Nature

A wonderful house on a river frontage in Australia was created by Push architects. Built very close to the river, on an elevated plateau, 70 Residence was designed to be an “L” shaped building with two storeys. Among the advantages of the house are the big double height roofed court promoting natural ventilation, a screen that creates a strong visual context for both the house and the courtyard and protects the entrance from the seasonal sun. Behind the house there are the platforms that strive to take your breath away until you reach the river where you can enjoy the wilderness of nature. Towards the south of the house you will be offered with such astounding view of the river front through the house glazed walls. There is also a pool which is smartly planned. This cozy house brings the feeling of comfort. Have a look.

Swedish Contemporary Apartment by Upgrade Living

Have a look at the modern and stylish apartment at the photos below. It was designed in the Ostermalm district of Stockholm by Mats Gustafson for the Swedish design company Upgrade Living. It looks extremely elegant. The total area is about 180 square meters. The most engaging features are an elevator which can take one straight into the living room, two potions, beautiful fireplace and of course the eye-catching glass floor in the middle which is only 3 cm but can hold up to 800 kilos per square meter. The house is equipped with all modern technologies and is controlled by them fully. Really very pretty place to live in!
