Elegant Evita Floor Lamp by AquiliAlberg for Kundalini

Italian architects AquiliAlberg have designed this elegant Evita floor lamp for Kundalini. The designers were inspired by the legendary personality of Evita Peron who impresses a lot of artists and musicians to create their masterpieces. The lighting body is wrapped by the metal cloth and curved in a spiral rotation of 90 degrees. It looks very stylish and contemporary giving the light to different corners of the room due to its design. The elegant image of the luminous body stimulates the imagination and opens itself to multiple evocative interpretations. Such detail in your interior will certainly give a special feeling of harmony to the whole space.

Light Up Your Way with Walkover Lighting by Serralunga

Redecoration of the old garden is a good idea especially with the unique lighting system from the illumination company Serralunga. It is built right into the lawn of the garden. Designer Roberto Paoli was inspired by the lighted floor in the video of Michael Jackson’s song “Billy Jean”. In this way Jacko Steps appeared. These lights are the perfect way to create a new gardening style. How great it looks especially at night! It brings the atmosphere of joy. You can choose either this Jacko Steps will be a single illuminated border surrounding your plantings or it will an illuminated pathway. Very creative! This lighting system will be presented at Milan Design Week 2011, April 12 to 17.

Ingenious ROPES Lamps by Christian Haas

ROPES Lamps is the new collection of lamps presented recently in Paris and created by the German based designer Christian Haas. His concept was to combine traditional materials and knotting techniques with energy-efficient LED technology. When you first see them unlit you could never suspect they might be a lamp. It looks like a simple rope giving the space a graphic statement. But when you switch it on the lamp gives the gentle light. This innovative lamp has a unique soft look and texture. All the lamps are handmade in either France or Germany. You have a variety of techniques and sizes to choose from.

Neon Eye Catcher by Manfred Kielnhofer: The Interlux Chair

We have recently presented to you the cabinet combined with the lighting. And now you should have a look at the Interlux chair designed by Manfred Kielnhofer. He tried to create two in one: a light art object combined with a cozy chair. Interlux chair is made of plexiglass and neon light with a flat plexiglass sheet for the seat and back. The unique long neon object is contained in a transparent tube. There is no effect from fluorescent light that is in the transparent tube of this chair. You can change the light tubes easily, so you can change the colours and create different atmosphere. This chair will certainly draw everyone’s attention making your place modern, stylish, fresh and innovative.

X&Y Light from Flynn Talbot: Become a Creator of Your Own Atmosphere

Flynn Talbot is an Australian lighting designer, who has created a new interactive light object called X&Y. He had the idea of such object for several years, briding the fields of interactive design and product design. Only latest achievements in LED technology have enabled the optimal realisation of this design vision. X&Y light was recently presented in the Berlin-based contemporary design gallery Helmrinderknecht. This sensory-based lamp allows people to control and to touch the power of light. The polished brass base contains all the LEDs and technology and is not connected to the the hand-blown opal glass sphere. The sphere produces light in a range of cool to warm white tones and a full colour spectrum.
