Design of small-sized apartments isn’t easy, but quite interesting and requires extraordinary solutions. There are some rules, which help you to create a comfort and coziness in your small apartment. You should try to use smaller furniture, combine functional areas, get rid of unnecessary walls, throw away unnecessary things, use light colors and mirrors, zoned the space. Sometimes when you move into a new place it does not feels that it is your home for days, or weeks, or month… Its hard to catch the moment when you stop missing your old place and start to feel relaxed. What makes you grow roots and start feeling home? Surely there are many things, but in the first place it's the interior that you create and the things that surround you.

The modest flat that you can see below is a home for a family of five artistic people, that like to create. Mother and daughter created all those nice knit things from sheets and cushions to rugs. Father of this family is a carpenter and he made most of the furniture – just take a look of this natural newspaper table made of a large slice of wood. Some of the things like the chair and floor lamp are still from Ikea, but still this home is a good proof that cozy home is not about the cost at all.
