House Tumle by Johannes Norlander Arkitektur AB in Sweden

This modern private house is located on the top of a hill, in a residential area north west of Gothenburg overviewing the Atlantic archipelago. Designed by Johannes Norlander Arkitektur AB for a small family, the House Tumle has two floors and occupies an area of 168 square meters. The unwelcoming black facade is clad in black corrugated metal sheeting. The first floor includes kitchen and living areas and there are bedrooms and work space on the top floor. It looks extremely black from the outside and crystal white inside the house. It's just amazing contrast. From a distance the building appears abstract, like an icon of a house, approaching it, more physical and present.

The Valle House by Materia Architecture

Valle House is a house, built in the Valle House in Mexico City, by specialists from Materia Architecture. During the construction of this house were used simple and affordable materials that look quite unusual and bright due to modern architecture. The design of the house seems a little heavy and even large windows are not allowed to make it a little lighter. Looking at this residence you can feel a certain national spirit, and the house seems not only modern and functional, but also original. More open part of the, faces the inner courtyard, becomes a continuation of public spaces, a place where you can relax and be outdoors in good weather.
