His Tomato Chair designed in 1971 confirmed his designer's reputation as a master of inventing new forms, seeming extraordinary and very complicated, but very comfortable for the human body. Due to the smart construction with two large rounded armrests and a comfortable back the chair is very stable. The material of Tomato chair and its stability allows using the chair right on the water! The name of the chair reflects its appearance: if you’ll look at the chair from the front there are two circles just like in the word tOmatO.
