Extraordinary cabinet

Dancing Cabinet by Markus Johansson
The front and rear panels of the cabinet, designed by Markus Johansson, twist in different directions, so it seems as if a piece of furniture tries to "walk" around the room. The facade and the back panel of the 'Walking cabinet' are the tilted parallelograms, whilst curved lateral surfaces have a more complex geometry. Each pair of parallel legs is at angle of the second pair. Thus, in the spatial composition of the items the dynamics and even a slight "dancing" occur. Walking Cabinet is a modular concept allowing construction of several separate cabinets of contrasting or similar colors.

Push and Store Cabinet by Chung-Tang Ho: No Doors, No Shelves, No Drawers

Chung-Tang Ho has recently presented his new Push and Store cabinet. It has really unique design requiring no shelves or drawers. The cabinet is constructed of the wooden beams which look like as it is filled. To store something you should push it into the black-painted piece and the beams will take the shape of the item. Push and Store Cabinet continuously changes its shape and structure with every object placed into it. Take them back and the cabinet will take its normal form. This unusual piece of furniture can be compared with the sculpture that is transformed by you. So you don’t have any extra place to store your things as well as there are no empty shelves. It is very interesting idea which looks simultaneously simple and stylish.
