Minimalist interior design

VDVT House by Boetzkes | Helder
We have already reviewed a lot of projects of white house design, that always look fantastic and modern. This time we are going to describe an unusual house with original black exterior. Architects from Boetzkes | Helder  presented a draft of VDVT House, modern home in the Netherlands. This residence is a prime example of that departure from accepted standards in architecture is not only possible but necessary. The shape of the house resembles a box with specially coated black aluminum facade that reflects sunlight and changes color. The inner design of the mansion is decorated in minimalist style with use of contrasting light colors. Photography by Merel van Beukering.

Big Bay Beach House – beautiful mansion in South Africa
Big Bay Beach House is a true work of art by architects and designers from companies COA and Fuchs Wacker Architekten. This luxurious mansion is located in the coastal area of Cape Town, South Africa and occupies an area of 535 sq.m. The design impresses with its simplicity of geometric shapes and straight lines. Modern residence is thought out the way that you can simultaneously enjoy the beautiful views of the ocean and relax on the outdoor terrace beside the pool, not beware of cold winds. Minimalism in interior design is intertwined with an individual approach and great attention to details.

Minimalist Prahran House by Nervegna Reed + PH Architects

The architect agency Nervegna Reed together with PH Architects created Prahnan House in Melbourne, Australia. It belongs to an Art Gallery director. The aim was to build the house on the narrow space of the city. There are two bedrooms and the additional study for the artists’ visits. Besides it also includes a private underground gallery. So it can be said that the house is divided into three levels where the entry is in the middle. The house has very interesting geometric shape. The white palette makes it light though maybe a bit cold. I guess some bright details can be suitable.
